Dear Patron –
Your staff at HighLine Grain Growers spends a lot of time and effort to keep transportation costs as low as possible for you, our patron. Each year at this time, we adjust our off-coast rates to reflect current freight conditions. We’ve finalized this process over the holiday weekend and these adjustments will take effect today, July 5th, 2022. Spiking fuel prices have forced transportation providers to implement fuel surcharges. To manage this volatility, HighLine Grain Growers will implement a fuel surcharge to reflect these conditions. This will allow your transportation costs to drop if fuel prices decline moving forward. This fuel surcharge will be applied to your settlement when title passes and will be adjusted monthly.
These market conditions are affecting each elevator differently. Please call your local office for details.

Question:
Can I sell wheat before my crop divisions are complete?
Answer:
YES Even with the WSDA FN testing delays (10-14 days average), you still have the option to sell and "Lock-in" current day market pricing. Sell wheat when YOU think the time is right and call your office for details or questions. We will process those sales as efficiently as possible upon receipt of final grading. Thanks for your patience and understanding!"
